I know I said I would be back to try other dishes but the menudo has me tied. I always come here with the pure intention of trying a new dish and never do. The menudo with pata, the pata being so soft so full of flavor, collagen oh my so delicious the hominy perfect addition to a flavorful soup. If I lived closer I would be here at least once a week. I am definitely here once a month lol come have some menudo, they also have unauthentic mexican houseware thank you for always receiving me with a smile Ibarra Tortilleria.
It's a neighborhood dive with some of the most authentic Mexican comfort food I grew up with. Found this place looking for barbacoa by the pound! Left with barbacoa, tortillas, menudo and carne guisada, arroz and frijoles. Everything was amazing.
Best Barbacoa in Fort Worth for sure. Tortillas are fantastic. Will definitely be making another visit.
Excellent tamales, breakfast, etc. it is a tiny spot to eat in at but to go is your best option! Service is good and it does give a homey vibe inside.
This place amazing! My husband and I both had the caldo de rez and carnita taco. Both were phenomenol. It was just days before Christmas and everyone was begging for tamales. We were told there were no more. The waitress came back and told us we were in luck and we ended up with three dozen tamales. Best tamales I've ever had. The inside is tiny but don't skip this one!!!
